Vermont. A special place to live – an unforgettable place to visit. Each part of Vermont offers a unique set of experiences, none more so than the Champlain Islands.
After the Revolutionary War, the Islands were given as a gift to brothers Ethan and Ira Allen, for their heroic contributions to Vermont. The heroes divided the Islands – North Hero and South Hero. It’s in South Hero, on a tiny inlet, where the Anchorage resides – ready to welcome you.
The Anchorage offers lakeside cabins, combined with a main house. You have immediate access to water sports, boating and fishing. You can enjoy the Anchorage at your leisure, or explore the island’s many treasures of attractions. The choice is yours. Click here to check out our See and Do page for suggestions.
The memories you create here will last a lifetime.
